We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Trade & Commodity Finance team in Singapore. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing risks, and developing strategic relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a global account manager for Singapore-based Commodities, Food & Agri sector clients and local/regional account manager for inbound clients.
- Manage key clients in Singapore, developing a strategic dialogue and driving non-lending business opportunities.
- Set account strategy, drive business growth, meet financial targets, and manage risks.
- Collaborate with product partners, account managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive banking solution.
- Manage the end-to-end credit approval process, deal execution, and portfolio monitoring.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 10-15 years of relevant working experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the commodity financing industry, with prior experience managing Singapore-based large commodity traders an advantage.
- Ability to engage with clients at C-Suite level and manage multiple internal stakeholders independently.
- Sound understanding of banking products, including financial and capital markets.
- Sound judgment, with the ability to balance business and risk.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven, with a high degree of initiative to grow the business.
- Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to coach junior team members.
