Senior Food Service Operations Manager

This is a challenging and dynamic role responsible for overseeing the food service management of a major unit. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall strategic direction for a large-scale food service operation.
  • Plans, organizes, assigns, and supervises the work of a diverse team engaged in food preparation and service.
  • Ensures high-quality food service standards by conducting regular observations and providing guidance to staff.
  • Develops and implements menus based on sound dietary principles and customer preferences.
  • Coordinates catering and banquet services, recommending menus to customers as needed.
  • Evaluates employee performance, resolves minor grievances, and provides training and development opportunities.
  • Manages inventory, requisitions, and purchases food supplies as required.

Requirements:

  • Years of experience as a Food Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
