Programme Executive Opportunity

Project 180 at Simei provides a unique setting for youth development and community engagement. As an Assistant Programme Executive, you will lead our structured recreational fishing-based initiatives.

This role involves direct engagement with youth, families, and seniors, as well as administrative and outreach responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structured recreational fishing sessions for youths, families, and seniors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and run fishing programmes that promote youth development and community engagement.
  • Teach and demonstrate essential recreational fishing skills.
  • Assist in programme logistics, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and outreach strategies to drive participation.
  • Assist in liaising and networking with stakeholders to strengthen relationships and partnerships.
  • Ensure timely documentation and maintain accurate programme data.
  • Assist in ongoing evaluation to measure and improve programme effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support related to programme operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct talks and workshops in schools.
  • Support other administrative and logistical needs of the department.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE O-Level certification.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience working with youths, families, or seniors preferred.
  • Strong passion for social innovation, community work, and recreational fishing.
  • Skilled in facilitation and engagement, especially in outdoor settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • A team player with strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable to different situations.
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in recreational fishing are essential.
  • Willing and able to work on weekends, with most working hours spent outdoors.
  • This position is on contract basis.

Work Location: Bukit Panjang / Simei
