Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of various translation projects related to membrane fabrication, module fabrication, and system-level validation of novel membrane technologies sourced from both local and global markets.

You will utilize in-house pilot test equipment and large-scale external pilot validation platforms to evaluate the performance of new membrane technologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Operating in-house pilot systems to evaluate membrane modules of new technologies.
  2. Transferring in-house pilot operation methods to on-field pilot systems.
  3. Sourcing components for scaling up selected membrane technologies.
  4. Finalizing engineering design and system process flow for pilot operations.
  5. Staying updated with the latest developments in water treatment technologies.
  6. Maintaining SOPs for membrane processes.
  7. Training junior staff in membrane technology and water treatment operations.
  8. Ensuring HSE compliance and presenting project progress reviews.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials/Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in membrane technology, process operations, and optimization.
  • Experience in membrane fabrication processes, such as flat sheet and hollow fiber.
  • Knowledge of polymeric and ceramic membrane technologies.
  • Experience in P&ID communication for pilot systems.
  • Hands-on experience in using AutoCAD.
