Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant

Become a vital member of our dynamic team at foodpanda, where your expertise will enhance the implementation of SAP FICO solutions. As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will be instrumental in refining our financial operations and ensuring precise and timely financial reporting.

We seek a proficient and seasoned SAP FICO Consultant to enrich our team. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering extensive SAP functional knowledge in finance and controlling. You will analyze business needs, devise solutions, configure SAP systems, and guarantee the smooth execution and integration of SAP FICO modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business workflows and requirements concerning finance and controlling to formulate functional specifications.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and offer expert guidance on SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Design and set up SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and WBS elements.
  • Conduct system evaluations, develop test scenarios, and assist in comprehensive testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Create and deliver training programs and materials to instruct end-users on SAP FICO processes.
  • Provide support post-implementation, resolve issues, and ensure the effective operation of SAP FICO modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules or external applications.
  • Stay informed on SAP FICO best practices, industry trends, and technological advancements to propose innovative solutions.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation to contribute to the success of SAP implementation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP FICO certifications are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP FICO functionalities, financial accounting, and controlling principles.
  • Expertise in SAP FICO sub-modules and business process analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to address complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with stakeholders.
  • Capability to function effectively in a team setting and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience with banking integration and other SAP modules is a plus.
