Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the success of our projects. You will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and reviewing the master construction program and preparing catch-up programs as necessary;
  • Supervising engineers and foremen to ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards of workmanship;
  • Preparing detailed programs for the site team to follow and completing tasks on time;
  • Resolving drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with the technical team;
  • Preparing detailed method statements and work instructions for construction;
  • Coordinating between subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments, and monitoring site manpower, material, and equipment demands to meet schedules;
  • Liaising with consultants on submission-related issues and technical department matters;
  • Planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecasting equipment, material, and manpower requirements, and controlling usage and wastages;
  • Ensuring adherence to safety practices in the workplace;
  • Providing technical expertise and knowledge in foundation, structural, and building works;
  • Being proficient in Microsoft Project;
  • Having good knowledge of method statements.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project;
  • Good knowledge of method statements;
  • Strong technical skills in foundation, structural, and building works;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction software;
  • Experience with construction management systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proven track record of delivering projects successfully.
