Job Title: Marine Project Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to manage day-to-day projects of Afloat Repairs, Lifesaving & Fire-Fighting Inspection and offshore projects on Ships/Rigs in Singapore and at Overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Assist the head of department in handling field service operations, technical, operational, and commercial matters.
  • Work out project quotations and send them to management for approval.
  • Prepare project costing for job completion settlement with customers.
  • Issue material, tools, and equipment requisitions to the supply department for purchase.
  • Issue purchase orders to subcontractors for maintenance and service.
  • Monitor, manage, and coordinate repair teams and/or subcontractors for job execution.
  • Liaise with clients, including Shipowners/managers, Offshore Operators, Shipyard Repair Managers, Agents, and others for project management.
  • Manage company warehouse inventory, calibrating tools and equipment as required.
  • Hand over related contact information to logistics coordinators for transportation arrangement for engineers and repair teams, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Ensure all documentation and certificates are ready for projects and submit to clients upon completion.
  • Provide remote technical support and answer customer queries.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have experience with marine machinery and equipment.
  • Previous experience in Shipyards or working onboard ships is preferred.
  • Able to commit to working beyond regular office hours due to the nature of the job.
