Project Coordination Specialist

A Project Coordination Specialist plays a key role in the successful delivery of marine projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and to a high standard. In this position, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day projects, including afloat repairs, lifesaving, and fire-fighting inspections, as well as offshore projects on ships/rigs in Singapore and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day projects, including afloat repairs, lifesaving, and fire-fighting inspections, as well as offshore projects on ships/rigs in Singapore and overseas.
  • Assist the head of department in handling field service operations, technical, operational, and commercial matters.
  • Prepare project quotations and send them to management for approval.
  • Coordinate repair teams and/or subcontractors for job execution.
  • Liaise with clients, including shipowners/managers, offshore operators, shipyard repair managers, agents, and others.
  • Manage tools and equipment kept in the company's warehouse, calibrate periodically, and perform maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Possess a diploma in marine engineering or equivalent.
  • Have experience in marine machinery and equipment.
  • Previous experience in a shipyard or working on board a ship is preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating marine service work, especially afloat repairs, is an advantage.
