Environmental Remediation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with project managers and contract management teams on environmental remediation projects, conducting site inspections, and supervising contractors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working closely with project managers and contract management teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Conducting thorough site inspections and monitoring the work of contractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Documenting and tracking work progress, reviewing contractor claims, and assessing EOT requests to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Supporting in contractual risk identification and mitigation, dealing with disputes on contractual matters with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing weekly summary reports, official letters, meeting minutes, and other correspondence as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Proven experience in environmental remediation, preferably in a contracting or construction setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
