  • The Functional Remediation Coordinator (FRC) plays a vital role in overseeing simple and moderately complex consumer remediations, ensuring successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership or remediation frameworks. Collaboration across various functions, including process owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and compliance teams, is essential to implement remediation plans effectively. Engaging with Issue owners, functional leaders, and stakeholders, the FRC defines expectations, provides project updates, and drives the resolution process forward under established guidelines and procedures. Managing a portfolio of simple and moderately complex remediations, the FRC partners with process owners, SMEs, and Analytics to identify impacted customer populations and assess the nature and extent of harm requiring remediation. Leveraging business operations knowledge, the FRC helps identify possible downstream impacts and supports larger remediations as needed. Identifying potential inefficiencies and providing feedback to improve process execution is a key responsibility, along with collaborating with the Analytics team to ensure proper creation of all execution files and assisting in the research and resolution of accounts that have failed remediation.Regular and detailed updates on project milestones, risks, expected timelines, and resolution outcomes are provided to key stakeholders. Facilitating seamless stakeholder communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing escalations with confidence and tact are crucial aspects of the role. Working closely with issue owners and functional leaders, the FRC defines expectations, manages deliverables, and secures actionable commitments for remediation efforts. Collaboration across departments such as Compliance, Legal, Operations, Growth, CD& Sales, and Finance is fostered to ensure coordinated execution of remediation plans. Identifying gaps or risks in the remediation and escalating issues to relevant parties in a timely manner are key responsibilities of the FRC.The ideal candidate for this role holds a Bachelor's degree in a financial or business-related field and has at least 1+ years of Project Management Experience within Financial Service. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, operations, or customer service, sales, digital servicing setting is required, or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience. Highly effective in fostering alignment across cross-functional teams, setting expectations, and maintaining accountability, the candidate should also be proficient with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.Desired characteristics include experience with systems such as FDR, Workstation, ACM, DM10, Vision Plus, etc., working in agile environments, a solid understanding of the assigned business functional area, creative problem-solving skills, experience with issue management processes and procedures, and excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.Eligibility criteria for this role include a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial services industry, operations, or customer service, sales, digital servicing setting, or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience.,
