About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as Head of Client Account Documentation and Internal Control at Indosuez Wealth Management. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of client onboarding and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the department and ensure team operates effectively by adhering to implementation methodology and policies.
  • Proactively manage expenses to ensure optimization of manpower to achieve higher productivity levels.
  • Establish a robust processing environment with effective controls.
  • Develop and implement a culture of risk and controls in the team through various processes and check points.
  • Identify means to reduce transaction defects (internal and external).
  • Develop performance matrices to track defects, productivity.
  • Ensure clean audit results and effectively manage new projects and ensures smooth completion with minimized risks.
  • Manage the team in the participation of UAT projects including attending of project discussions with stakeholders, review on business requirements and prepare of UAT test plans and UAT output review, reporting on the progress of projects as well as monitor post implementation progress to ensure smooth roll out.
  • Manage the administrative and reporting tasks of the department.
Internal Control Responsibilities
  • Perform internal controls and first level analysis (operations processing, selling process, suitability…) as defined in the Bank's Internal Control Manual.
  • Ensure completion of the execution of internal controls handled under the responsibility of other staff as defined in the Bank's Internal Control Manual.
  • Contribute to the improvement, digitalization and automation of the internal controls and more generally the Bank's processes through a collaborative approach.
  • Provide clarification to Front Office teams on questions related to internal control.
  • Follow up of pending remediation of controls.
  • Handle the Internal Control committee and actively participate in other committees as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 11 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management with a focus on client account opening documentation and internal control.
  • Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements.
  • Track record of leadership and management in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, with the ability to drive change and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Analytical and strategical decision-making skills, with a keen eye to details and accuracy.
  • Verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to guide and influence positively within the team and strong ability to partner effectively with.
  • Able to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters established.
  • Able to coach and develop people, identifying and retaining talent.
  • Able to interact confidently with senior management and / or auditors.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
