Job Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to join our team for a cutting-edge semiconductor plant project. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the project from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Quality Management:
    • Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), outlining key quality objectives and responsibilities.
    • Create Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for various aspects, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), piping, and equipment installation.
    • Manage documents such as work method statements, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)/Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)/welder qualifications.
    • Implement Non-Conformance Report (NCR)/Corrective Action Report (CAR) procedures to ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Material Control and QA/QC Work:
    • Conduct material inspections, verifying conformity to Approved Vendor Lists (AVL).
    • Responsible for QA/QC activities during fabrication & assembly, including welding inspection of carbon steel pipes/stainless steel pipes.
    • Oversee QA/QC work in the installation phase, encompassing equipment installation, HVAC and cleanroom systems, and piping installation.
    • Responsible for testing and pre-commissioning, including creating test boundaries (test packs) for each construction system.
    • Manage handover and document control, organizing as-built documents and final test reports.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ASME and client requirements.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering QA/QC experience.
  • Holding relevant professional qualification certificates, like welding inspector certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and rigorous attention to detail.
