As a leading research institution, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Fellow to join our team in Biophysics and Assay Development.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of analytical assays based on optical imaging methods. This will involve synthesizing and preparing required assay materials, testing a wide range of assay conditions and sample types, and collaborating with other research clusters to package optimized assays into commercial products.

We are looking for an expert with experience in analytical assay design and optimization, preferably with knowledge of optical imaging methods. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines, and excellent writing and communication skills. Proficiency in English is a must.

In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and proposing novel assays, collaborating with industry partners, and contributing to publications and patent applications. You will also supervise PhD and undergraduate student projects as required.

To succeed in this position, you will need to thrive in a highly multidisciplinary team-based environment and stay up to date with developments in the field through regular literature reviews.

  • PhD Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biophysics, or related disciplines
  • Experience in analytical assay design and optimization
  • Experience with optical imaging methods
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
