Lead Cybersecurity Strategist

Description:

This senior leadership position oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and work plans to ensure digital resilience and support organizational transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive agency-wide cybersecurity efforts to support digital transformation while ensuring digital resilience of systems.
  • Promulgate and enforce cybersecurity strategies, policies, and work plans for continuous alignment.
  • Evaluate and enhance risk management through threat-based risk assessments, mitigations, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Provide consultation and endorsement of risk management and mitigation plans from project teams.
  • Govern and elevate the organization's security posture by maintaining visibility and oversight of ICT assets, security architectures, and cybersecurity operations code of practices.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks, including planning, designing, and conducting security incident response workshops and exercises.
  • Investigate and manage ICT security incidents.
  • Offer advisory and recommendations on appropriate cybersecurity technologies aligned with business requirements and industry advisories and best practices.
  • Ensure secure-by-design ICT product development, and that security controls implementations comply with defined security policies, standards, and guidelines.
