Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role and make a real impact in the data centre industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres, managing incidents, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the data centre, including incident response and resolution.
  • Lead BCP exercises and ensure that all necessary procedures are in place.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform shift duty to support 24x7 operations.

DC Facilities Management:

  • Monitor and maintain all data centre facilities infrastructure, including power, temperature control, and humidity levels.
  • Ensure that all supporting infrastructure, such as EMS and access control systems, are functioning correctly.
  • Update and maintain all relevant documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide timely support to customers.

Incident/Change/Customer Management:

  • Manage incidents and closures, including root cause analysis.
  • Raise change requests and notifications to customers as needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure contractual service level agreements are met.
  • Perform other duties as required, including access clearance and project participation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering, Information & Digital Technologies, or related field.
  • Technical education with 5 years of experience in data centre operations management.
  • General knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
