Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Fiscal Operations Specialist. This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive research on critical accounting matters, market trends, and regulatory updates to inform financial decisions.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of financial statements, cash flow, and income statement data to assess the impact of new accounting standards or regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting and regulatory changes.
  • Offer technical support to the finance team on complex accounting issues.
  • Revise and maintain the company's accounting policies to align with the latest accounting standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication on accounting topics.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned to support business needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business required; advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting; prior audit experience advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or US GAAP.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial instrument valuation a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
