Job Title:
Fiscal Operations SpecialistThe role of a Fiscal Operations Specialist is to ensure that all financial reports are accurate, complete and submitted on time. This includes preparing and submitting regulatory reports for different jurisdictions and products, resolving issues related to reporting, communicating operational changes to stakeholders and developing business requirements for system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit financial reports in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- Resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy of reported data;
- Develop business requirements for system enhancements and improvements;
- Streamline processes to minimize risks and optimize efficiency;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements;
- Maintain accurate records and perform reconciliations as required;
- Anticipate future regulatory requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
- Support the implementation of new regulations and processes;
- Drive projects and process improvements to enhance overall operations;
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success;
- Escalate issues promptly and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them;
- Stay up-to-date with relevant trends and industry developments to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fiscal operations or a related field;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies;
- Adequate knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines;
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
