Job Title: Fiscal Operations Specialist

Overview:

  • The Fiscal Operations Specialist will maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
  • This role requires preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • A key responsibility is to prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • The successful candidate will assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Banking reconciliations and managing cash flow reporting are also crucial tasks in this role.
  • This position involves supporting the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • The ideal candidate will provide overall support to the implementation of new accounting systems and finance processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures, as well as GAAP and SOX standards, is a must.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CA/ACCA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in General Ledger/GL accounting roles, preferably from a multinational environment.
  • Prior work experience in using Oracle accounting systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  2. Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  3. Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  4. Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
  5. Perform banking reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting.
  6. Support the preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
  7. Implement new accounting systems and finance processes.
