Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of construction costs and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage tendering process, project budgeting, and processing claims;">
  • Review contract documents, tender drawings, scope of work, schedule, technical specification, and BOQ;">
  • Liaise with consultants and clients regarding ambiguities in contract work scope and respond to tender questionnaire/clarification;">
  • Prepare project cost estimations and breakdowns;">
  • Negotiate and appoint suppliers/vendors;">
  • Check progress of work on site and submit progress claims;">
  • Verify subcontracts/vendors' progress claims against actual work and quality, recommending payment requests to finance;">
  • Collaborate with the Project Team to provide cost and contractual advice, determining valuation of work done at site;">
  • Prepare timely reports as requested by management;">
  • Perform other duties related to Quantity Surveying required by the Contract Manager.">

Requirements

The ideal candidate must hold a degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building, or equivalent. We also require the following information in your resume:
