Overview
DBS Bank Limited, a leading financial institution, is seeking an exceptional Strategic Enterprise Architect Lead to drive innovation and shape the bank's technology landscape. With a strong focus on cloud native solutions, this role will play a critical part in ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, and efficient.

About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in solutioning large complex programs and experience in banking solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust technical architectures, leveraging frameworks such as React, Angular, Spring Boot, and APIs to facilitate seamless integration between systems. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including technology heads, business analysts, and application teams, to ensure that our systems meet the evolving needs of our customers and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement resilient system architectures that minimize downtime and data loss in the event of failures or cyber-attacks.
  • Analyze current systems to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Develop and refine the architectural strategy for the bank, encompassing software, infrastructure, and cloud services, aligning with best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and agree on system integration standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Establish design principles, service catalogues, and patterns that can be adopted as enterprise and solution architecture standards, driving design consistency across the bank.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in solutioning for large complex programs with experience in banking solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and designing complex technical architectures, including detailed knowledge of software development practices, infrastructure components, cloud computing models, and modern architectural approaches.
  • Experience working in a cloud native work environment, including public cloud, containers, serverless, and familiarity with common technologies such as Java, Springboot, Kong API Gateway, OpenShift, AMQ, Kafka, and AWS.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams, and excellent verbal, written communication skills and executive presence.
