Job Title: Petrochemical Trading Expert

This is a challenging role in the refinery's trading activities, including import, export, and third-party trading.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of global petrochemical markets, with a focus on MTBE, Aromatic, Benzene, Xylene, Toluene, and other key products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proprietary trading of petrochemical products to meet market demand and achieve company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze oil and gas market trends, including supply-demand dynamics and key factors influencing market sentiment.
  • Assess and manage risks such as price fluctuations and credit exposure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other market participants.
  • Coordinate logistics, shipping, and operations to ensure smooth and timely delivery of traded cargoes.
  • Evaluate all trades for compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in International Trade or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in commodity trading are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in gasoline or petrochemical trading, including physical and derivatives markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of global petrochemical industry.
  • A proven track record of success in trading roles, supported by strong performance results.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others and work effectively as part of a team.

You should possess:

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data.
  • In-depth knowledge of trading strategies, financial instruments, and risk management techniques.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively in a multicultural business environment.
