Job Title: In-House Legal Advisor
">Job Description:
The In-House Legal Advisor will oversee all contracts associated with the company and its subsidiaries, providing timely legal advice and support in various areas.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and statements to ensure they are in the best interest of the organization.
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer strategic solutions to possible legal issues.
- Develop business risk management strategies and implement them accordingly.
- Communicate closely with internal and external stakeholders on legal and risk management topics related to commercialization and products or services.
- Evaluate compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other formalities.
- Create business guidelines and establish approval workflows and documentation.
- Protect patents, trademarks, and industrial designs by executing relevant procedures.
- Review legal rules and regulations, cascade findings to the team, and implement appropriate mechanisms for business expansion beyond current jurisdictions.
- Manage third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors and handle litigation.
- Promote legal, compliance, and risk management best practices throughout the organization.
- Design and deliver legal training to enhance awareness of and reduce the risk profile of the business.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent, preferably with three or more years' experience in a commercial setting. They should possess excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and legal procedures, sound judgment, strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills, close attention to details, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
