Job Title: Senior Trade Finance Specialist

The role of a Senior Trade Finance Specialist is to oversee the execution of trade finance transactions, ensuring that they are conducted in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

This involves working closely with various stakeholders, including banks, suppliers, and buyers, to facilitate smooth transactions and minimize risks.

As a Senior Trade Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing cash and transaction flows
  • Maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions
  • Providing business support and advice to clients
  • Handling Letter of Credit (LC) transactions

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of trade finance operations, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in Mandarin is also required for effective communication with Chinese counterparts.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/International Business or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Commodities, or related industries
  • Conversant in UCP600/ISBP regulations is an advantage
  • Prior working experience with dealing in export and import Letter of Credits (LC) transactions is a MUST
  • Fluent Mandarin is required for communication with Chinese speaking counterparts
