The corporate banking unit based in Singapore specialises in managing KBC group relationships in and outside Belgium and Central & Eastern Europe (CEE). It also offers an invaluable and specialised platform for those companies in Singapore that conduct business with, and in, Belgium and CEE.

We are currently looking for a highly dependable and self-motivated **Trade Finance Officer / Senior Trade Finance Officer** to join our Trade Finance Operations team.

To succeed in this role, you should be industrious, proactive and cordial team player with an eye for detail. We also expect you to have strong logical and problem solving skills and possess the ability to work quickly and accurately even under pressure.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee timely processing of Trade Finance transactions, including LC Advising, Banker’s Guarantee and SBLC issuance, issuance of Import LCs and amendments, processing of Trust Receipts and rollovers.
- Prepare SWIFT messages
- Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and customers as the first point of contact on transaction enquiries.
- Attend to walk-in customers at Trade Finance counter.
- Filling and archival of bills
- Assist in other areas as and when required by the Head of Bills

Requirements:

- 2 to 5 years of Trade Service/Finance experiences in Banking environment
- Excellent knowledge and experience in trade products, operations, Trade Cycle and customer service
- Good understanding of Trade Finance products and its applicable UCP / ICC rules
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with both internal & external customers
- Strong IT skills (MS Office Applications).
