Job Title: Hospital Construction Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project lead to oversee the delivery of hospital construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within set parameters.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to drive project milestones and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout project phases.
  • Review and approve architectural and construction plans, specifications, and procurement to ensure alignment with hospital needs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of project documentation, progress reports, and handover packages.
  • Lead project meetings, manage communication channels, and provide updates to senior management and clients.
  • Mentor and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure smooth project commissioning, closeout, and transition to facility operations, addressing any defects or outstanding issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Min. 10 years of local project management experience
  • Preferably have experience in healthcare sector, with a strong background in hospital construction projects
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of local construction codes, healthcare regulations, and safety practices
