About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Product Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of product development for Owner Supplied Equipment (OSE) in alignment with key business goals.

You will examine existing and investigate new technologies, drive product innovation across the company, with a particular focus on clean energy technologies and energy storage systems.

Research and explore the addition of new products to the OSE categories, collaborate with master planning and design teams to future-proof our product offering, and ensure customer requirements are met in a functional and innovative way.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Manage and expand a team to deliver critical initiatives and support project delivery efforts.
  • Manage processes, reporting, and documentation repository related to technical specifications, approvals, procurements, commissioning, and continuous improvement of OSE products.
  • Initiate new product development investigations, organise regular meetings with vendors, visit sites, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Evaluate quality assurance and design checks for new products and applications.
  • Produce vendor briefs to develop designs from feasibility stages through concept, scheme, and detailed design stages.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering discipline, preferably with 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, or data centre design and operations, including prefabrication or modular construction.

Demonstrated analytical skills to explore data and develop engineering solutions are essential, along with experience in energy generation, distribution, and/or storage industries.

Candidates must be willing to make decisions and be accountable for them, coordinate and manage external suppliers, and possess strong communication and presentation abilities.
