IT Infrastructure Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT professional to join our organization as an IT Infrastructure Specialist.

  • We are looking for someone with experience in managing and supporting day-to-day IT infrastructure and systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in IT administration or support roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing service requests for IT infrastructure
  • Creating and terminating shared mailbox accounts and distribution lists
  • Granting or removing user access to mailbox accounts
  • Submitting certificate issuance/renewal requests
  • Updating user Outlook profiles and redesignating users
  • Submitting provisioning requests for newly imaged machines
  • Reviewing AD lists for inactive user accounts and deprovisioning them
  • Packaging and installing software/applications on request
  • Assigning and replacing VPN tokens for users
  • Submitting firewall rules requests
  • Resetting Multi-Factor Authentication
  • Updating security group memberships
  • Submitting various NSSR requests
  • Processing deductions for laptop loans/WOG disk wipes/WOG imaging
  • Adding or removing hostnames from FFE groups
  • Taking minutes during meetings

Requirements:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT administration or support roles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
