About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit, and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be part of the Group Credit Policy & Governance (CPG) team, providing Line 2 Oversight on Personal Financial Services (PFS) Loans Portfolio for UOB Group. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the integration and migration of Citi portfolio into UOB under Policy & Portfolio Management sub-stream
  • Tracking consolidated RRA and RDF metrics and Credit KPIs across regional countries
  • Performing monitoring of regional countries portfolio and highlighting key and emerging risks
  • Supporting portfolio review reporting and preparation for Quarterly Credit Review of Retail Portfolio with Senior Management of Group Retail Business and Group Credit Committee
  • Undertaking ad hoc projects as part of Group CPG Collective Agenda
  • Supporting standardization of MIS pack across countries and enhancing it over time
Job Requirements

At least 2 years of working experience in a retail banking role, preferably in a credit risk policy, MIS, and portfolio management capacity. Degree holder with background in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, and Finance preferred. Familiar with portfolio monitoring and segmentation strategy, exposure to Basel Capital Rules, credit scorecards, and analytics techniques. Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, SAS Programming, Enterprise Guide, Decision Tree tools, and SQL database. Experience in a Group regional role with knowledge of country business and regulatory landscape will be an advantage.
