Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Geophysicist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from GPR and Seismic Refraction surveys, preparing documents and quotations for projects, attending site meetings, and resolving technical/operational issues independently.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data from GPR and Seismic Refraction surveys
  • Prepare documents and quotations for projects
  • Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently
  • Liaise and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle site works, inspection, supervise trial trenching, geophysical works, planning
  • Carry out survey and mapping works and other site activities
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geophysics or its equivalent discipline, with relevant working experience in geotechnical instrumentation, geophysics survey, soil investigation and geophysical data interpretation and collection.

  • At least Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geophysics or its equivalent discipline
  • With relevant working experience in geotechnical instrumentation, geophysics survey, soil investigation and geophysical data interpretation and collection
  • With knowledge in operating and interpreting ground penetrating radar (GPR) and drone photography & videography
  • Proficient in ArcGIS
  • Independent and able to deliver under pressure
  • Able to think strategically and follow through on the successful implementation of plans
  • Team player and strong problem-solving skills
  • Results driven and highly motivated
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
