As a Senior Insurance Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). Your primary goal will be to broaden, maintain, and deepen these partnerships, ensuring that our clinics and doctors remain in good standing on insurer/TPA panels.
Your Key Responsibilities- Foster close relationships with key stakeholders within the insurance industry, maintaining open lines of communication and driving growth opportunities for both parties.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance our panel presence, monitor performance, and negotiate improved terms where possible.
- Lead education and training initiatives for doctors and clinic staff on matters related to insurance/TPA pre-authorisation, pricing, and claims procedures.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of service delivery with insurer/TPA expectations.
- Organise regular reviews with doctors and insurance/TPA partners to discuss progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of changes in the MediShield Life, Integrated Shield Plans, and corporate insurance landscape, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Analyse market trends, competitor panel affiliations, and growth opportunities, informing strategic decisions to drive business growth.
- Oversee contract negotiations, Service Level Agreements, and compliance with regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to data privacy laws and medical ethics.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- You have at least 3–5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or TPA partnership management.
- You possess strong understanding of Singapore's healthcare financing schemes and corporate health benefits.
- You excel in managing panel relationships for medical clinics or providers, with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- You are numerate and analytical, able to interpret healthcare utilisation and cost data.
