Business Development Manager

Our company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets, focusing on industrial equipment and construction machinery.
  2. Customer Engagement: Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  3. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform and adapt sales strategies effectively.
  4. Project Coordination: Participate in sales negotiations, tender processes, contract finalization, and project follow-up to ensure smooth execution.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with after-sales, technical support, and logistics teams to deliver an efficient and professional customer experience.
  6. Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, customer feedback updates, and market analysis to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or above in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in industrial equipment or construction machinery. Experience with forklifts, aerial platforms, or roadwork equipment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients or partners.
  • Strong understanding of the construction equipment industry and ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Able to work under pressure and travel as needed.
  • Ability to understand mechanical functions and discuss technical solutions with customers is an advantage.
