Job Overview

This role involves providing exceptional customer service to guests in a fast-paced airport lounge environment. As a Lounge Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming space, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure tables, chairs, and service areas are clean and tidy at all times.
  • Participate in the general cleaning of the Airport Transit Lounge, including regular tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Take ownership of your designated section and station, prioritizing tasks to maintain high standards.
  • Contribute to programmed and regular cleaning duties, adhering to schedules and guidelines.
  • Provide assistance to guests with directions and requests, offering a warm and helpful service.


Requirements:
  • Prior experience in hospitality or a related field is highly desirable.
  • You should possess excellent communication skills, being approachable, friendly, and courteous in your interactions with colleagues and guests.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues and contributing to a collaborative environment.
  • Active participation in departmental training is essential, along with a willingness to provide support and feedback to others.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset, particularly if you can communicate in a second language.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming, reflecting positively on the organization.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate basic English fluently.
  • Able to adapt to rotating shift hours, including weekends and public holidays, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.


Desirable Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic data entry skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Administrative support experience, with a focus on organization and time management.
  • Able to work independently, taking initiative and making decisions as required.
  • Customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
