Job Description:

Flash Coffee is a leading tech-enabled coffee chain in Asia, aiming to make high-quality coffee accessible to the rising middle class. We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Director to oversee our food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest quality products are consistently delivered to our customers.

As a key member of our executive team, you will develop and implement comprehensive food and beverage strategies that align with our company's overall objectives. This includes creating global drinks menus, seasonal food offerings, and overseeing product development, pricing, and marketing initiatives.

You will work closely with our operations team to design SOPs and quality standards, ensuring globally standardized taste, presentation, and consistency across all our locations. Strong relationships with suppliers are crucial, and you will be responsible for negotiating the best products at the best prices.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to possess excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and develop talent. You will be responsible for monitoring sales and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and ensuring that our food and beverage offerings meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive food and beverage strategies
  • Create global drinks menus and seasonal food offerings
  • Oversee product development, pricing, and marketing initiatives
  • Design SOPs and quality standards with the operations team
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best products at the best prices
  • Monitor sales and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in food and beverage development, preferably in the coffee industry
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage trends and the ability to develop products that meet customer needs and preferences
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and develop talent
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and track performance against targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to ensuring a safe and hygienic workplace for staff and customers
