As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a key role in teaching and mentoring students in the design and implementation of artificial intelligence systems. Your expertise in machine learning, data science, and programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java will be essential in developing and delivering courses that meet the needs of our students.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research and industry experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will be responsible for leading or co-leading innovation projects with industry partners and collaborating with other academics to develop new programs and initiatives.
A Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required, along with proven working experience related to Machine Learning or AI. Basic to advanced level competence in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java is also necessary. Additionally, you should have good grasp and understanding of data structures, data modelling, software architecture, and mathematics.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor students in the design and implementation of artificial intelligence systems
- Develop and deliver courses in machine learning, data science, and programming languages
- Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry partners
- Collaborate with other academics to develop new programs and initiatives
- Manage labs and equipment to support academic programs and applied research
- Ensure safety in labs
Salary: SGD 80,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
