Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Leadership Expert to lead our AI team in Singapore. As a Development Manager for our Artificial Intelligence team, you will be responsible for creating compelling product visions and leading teams to execute on this vision. You will represent the work of your teams towards internal and external stakeholders, working closely with development leads, data scientists, product owners, product managers, and development operations colleagues in your team and other teams to create value for our customers from the first idea to a successful market entry, adoption, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Define product plans and execute against a committed delivery timeline; manage the day-to-day activities of the development team
- Ownership of the complete software development lifecycle, designing, leading implementation, and testing of new features, ensuring adoption by stakeholders within a fast-paced, agile environment
- Manage customer expectations via product support, ensuring high standards in incident processing, quality of interactions, and fixes that are delivered
- Provide functional, architectural, and data science guidance to the team
- Maintain a hands-on approach to deliver highly available and scalable AI Assets
- Management of people, including active engagement, staffing, talent management, career aspirations, mentoring, and enhancing skills of team members to maintain a best-in-class Artificial Intelligence development team
- Actively contribute and drive various leadership initiatives for the location, e.g., cross-unit collaboration, training plan execution, general administration, hiring & internship management, budget planning, and adherence, etc.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field. You should have at least 8 years of experience in software product development, ideally with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. You should have a proven track record of building a culture of design excellence that develops high-impact products, as well as experience implementing well-run, agile processes in multiple functions: Development, QA, Release. You should be able to communicate vision and strategy effectively to the team, partners, and clients, and have experience managing dependencies on other teams within a larger organization. Technical knowledge required to command the respect of high-octane engineering teams, strong organizational skills, and ability to deliver with highest quality under extreme pressure, while juggling multiple tasks and in complex environments are also essential.
Estimated Salary: SGD 160,000 - SGD 200,000 per annumAbout the TeamYou will be part of our Artificial Intelligence team in Singapore, which consists of experienced professionals taking on challenges posed by our customers.
