CCDS invites qualifiedacademics to apply for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer position inArtificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and SoftwareEngineering/ProgrammingLanguages.

Responsibilities
  • Designand deliver high quality courses in Artificial Intelligence,Machine Learning and Software Engineering/Programming Languagesthat include both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Contributeto curriculum development and enhancement to ensure studentsreceive world class teaching education
  • Provideacademic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering theirintellectual and professionalgrowth.
  • Contribute to the School anduniversity's service activities, including committee participation,outreach and engagement with industrypartners
  • Facilitates and conducts all teachingassignments, both face-to-face and virtualdelivery
  • Oversee and complete core courseadministrative tasks or duties such as course evaluation, onlinecourse materials, attendance records, academic counselling onstudent progress
  • Conducts assessments, markingand grade entries, feedback to students, student consultations,non-academic matters (eg. invigilation)etc.
  • Develops and updates course materials andlearning resources for course delivery and support students'learning
  • Provides regular course and studentprogress statistics for reporting, improvement of students'learning and strategic decisionmaking
  • Demonstrates values and principles ofprofessional conduct in all endeavours
  • Conductimpactful research in areas related to Artificial Intelligence,Machine Learning and Software Engineering/Programming Languages andcollaborate with colleagues within the department and across theuniversity
  • Any other assignedduties


Requirements
  • Applicantsshould have industry and/or academic experience, a passion forteaching and preferably possess a Master's degree or PhD inComputer Science and Engineering.
  • with therelevant professional qualifications
  • Knowledgein Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and SoftwareEngineering/Programming Languages
  • Candidatesshould demonstrate teaching/mentoring excellence and be able toengage in curriculum development and work closely with students forundergraduate courses
  • Candidates with industryexperience arepreferred
