This senior role focuses on driving the origination and structuring of syndicated loan transactions across South and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:- Originate loan transactions by partnering with Relationship Managers and internal product teams to drive business growth.
- Contribute to building a high-quality loan book by identifying and executing strategic lending deals aligned with the bank's risk appetite and sector focus.
- Pitch for lead arranger and bookrunner roles in syndicated loan transactions, covering various sectors including corporates, financial institutions, transportation, infrastructure, project finance, and asset-backed structures.
- Drive end-to-end transaction execution from origination through syndication and closing, conducting client discussions to understand financing needs and proposing suitable capital solutions.
- Structure transactions based on clients' strategic requirements, prevailing market conditions, and risk considerations, preparing high-quality pitchbooks, proposals, and transaction summaries to support client meetings and internal approvals.
The ideal candidate will possess strong credit analysis, financial modeling, and deal structuring capabilities, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills for client engagement and internal presentation. A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to deal sourcing and execution is also essential.
