Job Overview

As a Restructuring and Forensic Specialist, you will be responsible for managing daily operations of engagements, analyzing records and transactions to gather evidence for litigation purposes, and advising clients in restructuring, insolvency and litigation engagements.

You will work closely with clients to identify issues affecting business operations and profitability, and develop solutions to problems and provide value to clients. Your expertise will be utilized to maximize business values and realization of assets for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of engagements
  • Analyze records and transactions to gather evidence for litigation purposes
  • Advise clients in restructuring, insolvency and litigation engagements
  • Identify issues affecting business operations and profitability
  • Develop solutions to problems and provide value to clients

Additionally, you will be required to:

  • Be part of a team that investigates affairs of complaints, analyzes causes of underperformance and business performance of corporate clients for debt restructuring and restoring value for stakeholders.
  • Be part of a team that gathers expert evidence and advice in legal proceedings and forensic assignments, including fact finding financial and non-financial reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification recognized by ISCA.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in a similar field or in audit or other advisory experience.
  • Positive attitude, meticulous and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
