Job Title: Schedule Development Professional

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Schedule Development: Develop and update integrated master schedules (IMS) to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
  • Breakdown of Projects: Break down projects into work packages and define dependencies, milestones, and critical paths to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress against baseline schedules and identify deviations to take corrective actions.
  • Resource Planning: Ensure resource availability aligns with project priorities by preparing manpower histograms, resource allocation charts, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Interface and Coordination: Coordinate with discipline leads and subcontractors to ensure accurate reporting of progress and integration of subcontractor schedules into the project IMS.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Produce reports and maintain historical planning records to support project decision-making and lessons learned.
  • Change and Risk Management: Analyze schedule impacts of changes and variations, and update the schedule baseline to reflect changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project: Proficient in using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of project scheduling principles, practices, and tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with multi-discipline teams and stakeholders.
