Job Role: Educational Facilitator

About the Position:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to lead our after-school care program as an Educational Facilitator. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to create a supportive learning environment that promotes academic success, social growth, and emotional well-being in students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Academic Support: Provide guidance on daily assignments and homework to ensure students meet their educational goals.
  • Literacy Development: Offer literacy support by reviewing English spellings, promoting phonics skills, and encouraging reading habits.
  • Holiday Programs: Plan and execute engaging holiday programs, including excursions, that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom behavior, address disciplinary issues using positive reinforcement techniques, and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification such as a College degree or Professional Certificate/NiTEC Diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in classroom coaching, management, or administration.
  • Skills in Coaching, Childcare, Classroom, Teaching, Tolerance, Work Well Independently, Stress, Classroom Management, Interpersonal Skills, Trusting Relationships, Early Childhood Education, Administration, Care Planning, First Aid, Wellbeing, Team Player.
