Site Development Director

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in leading the site development team to ensure successful project execution. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Project Manager in overseeing daily operations, planning ahead to prevent schedule delays, reviewing equipment and material requisitions, and managing correspondence with clients and contractors.
About This Role:
You will be responsible for:
- To assist the Project Manager in leading the site development team.
- To plan ahead of schedule to prevent site problems from impacting cost, overall schedule, and quality.
- To review equipment and material requisitions to ensure they meet project requirements.
- To manage correspondence and documentation with clients and contractors, including coordination of meetings and communication of project updates.
- To oversee daily site activities, including supervision and monitoring of the site labour force and subcontractors.
- To liaise with authorities, client representatives, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications.
- To identify and resolve any technical difficulties and problems that may arise on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This is a challenging role requiring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. To be successful, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
