Job Title: Ticketing and Reservation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Ticketing and Reservation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing bookings, inquiries, and ticketing processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making reservations, confirmations, and changes accurately for passengers. They will also handle inquiries from passengers, agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email.

The role requires effective communication skills, with the ability to work independently and stay patient under pressure. Proficiency in Air Ticketing and GDS (Amadeus) is advantageous, while knowledge of the Sabre system is beneficial.

  1. Manage bookings and walk-in inquiries, handling the entire ticketing process.

  2. Make bookings, reservations, confirmations, and changes accurately for passengers.

  3. Handle inquiries from passengers, agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process reservations, mileage redemptions, ticket issuance, schedule changes, re-bookings, and re-issuance efficiently.

  • Keep member accounts updated according to profile changes.

  • Inform clients about current promotions, provide program materials, and assist with forms.

  • Address feedback and complaints, coordinating with support to resolve issues.

  • Participate in strategic planning, including needs analysis and budget preparation.

  • Identify new business opportunities during team meetings.

  • Manage ticket handling and event logistics.

  • Stay updated on market trends, airline requirements, and industry changes.

Requirements:

  1. 2 years of relevant experience with a good understanding of airfares and reservations.

  2. Ability to work independently, stay patient, and perform under pressure.

  3. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  4. Proficient in Air Ticketing and GDS (Amadeus) is advantageous.

  5. Knowledge of the Sabre system is beneficial.
