Job Title: Product Quality Assurance Specialist

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support global new product development projects through the NPD Stage Gate Process.
  • Solid understanding of quality assurance and NPD processes.
  • Coordinate with design engineering to define measurement methodology for critical dimensions and specifications.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a solid understanding of requirements.
  • Lead qualification efforts, including components, materials, and vendors.
  • Prepare control plans, inspection documentation, and quality plans.
  • Facilitate PPAPs and customer approvals.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Supplier quality management – conduct supplier audits for NPD components.
  • Training and communication – train internal teams and suppliers on quality standards and inspection criteria.

 

Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering or science with at least 3 years of QA experience.
  • Strong knowledge of new product development stage gate process and NPD tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated success in applying lean or six sigma tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability working successfully in a cross-functional environment to achieve quality goals.
