Robotics Operations and Technical Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Operations and Technical Specialist to drive the success of our construction robotics projects. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment of robotic solutions at construction sites, ensuring seamless operations and excellent technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and coordinate robotics solutions at construction sites
  • Work closely with project teams, site supervisors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and excellent technical support
  • Track equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting efforts
  • Support logistics, scheduling, and documentation of site trials and commercial rollouts

Technical Support & Testing:

  • Assist in testing and commissioning of robotics systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide first-level support on-site
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on data collection, performance validation, and user feedback
  • Evaluate and implement safety protocols and compliance standards during operations

Project Coordination:

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, risk assessments, and operational records
  • Standardize workflows and SOPs for robotic use in construction environments
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and product teams to share site insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage additional tasks and ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned, aligning with operational needs and project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Relevant experience (at least 1 year)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on technical ability
  • Good organizational and project coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in site environments and engaging with diverse teams
  • A passion for innovation and improving construction methods.
