Job Title: Technical Deployment Specialist

A key technical role that requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent customer service. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of our point-of-sale system at customer locations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Deployment Specialist to coordinate the deployment schedules, configure network and hardware components, and troubleshoot technical issues during and after deployment. You will work closely with customers to schedule and execute rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Deployment & Setup: Deliver, install and configure our Waffle POS system, including software setup and integration with peripherals such as receipt printers, QR code ordering and cash drawers.
  • Networking & Hardware Configuration: Advise, set up and configure routers, assign static IP addresses to printers, and ensure all network components are optimized for reliability.
  • Customer Rollout Management: Work with customers to schedule and execute rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues during and after deployment, providing on-site or remote assistance as needed.
  • Manage Key Stakeholders: Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of deployments and provide ongoing support.
