Job Title: Trade Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Trade Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end processing support to our Treasury & Markets department.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate processing support for interest rate derivatives, credit default swaps products across multiple regions.
  • Ensure effective validation and settlement of all relevant trades.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform data analysis and problem-solving at a senior level.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for data discovery and insight.

Job Duties:

  • Validate new interest rate derivatives, credit default swaps trades against source documents in Murex or Front Arena systems.
  • Authorise payments and receipts for Treasury products.
  • Perform Fixing procedures in Murex and Front Arena systems.
  • Liaise with counterparties and local T&M Ops for settlement or fixing.
  • Monitor and handle end-to-end settlement process, including exception handling of unmatched/alleged trades and necessary follow-ups and escalation.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks or exceptions within stipulated turnaround time.
  • Manage inquiries related to pre- and post-trade effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Settlement experience in trade operations.
  • Interest Rate Derivatives and Credit Default Swaps knowledge.
  • Treasury operations expertise.
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
