Claims Processor Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Claims Processor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the entire claims lifecycle, from initial intake to resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and review insurance claims documents in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Verify policy coverage and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of claims submissions.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely updates and communication on claims status to clients and relevant parties.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims processing in our system for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing claims reports and data analysis for management review.
  • Support compliance with internal controls, risk management, and service standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in claims processing, insurance operations, or administrative support preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in the insurance industry may also be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders).
