Project Coordinator Seafreight Project Cargo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cargo and shipment management to ensure operational control and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing RFQs and tenders with competitive pricing and detailed proposals.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, partners, and offices regarding project operations-related matters.
  • Manage global shipments of various cargo types, including out-of-gauge and heavy-lift cargo.
  • Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors to secure competitive rates.
  • Calculate and monitor project profits.
  • Support the sales team with offers and proposals.
  • Supervise loading and discharging operations at ports and customer sites.
  • Administration support in daily business activities.
  • Assist management with reporting and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience with completed training in freight forwarding.
  • Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, including ocean freight, air freight, and break bulk.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Cargowise is an advantage.
