Senior Quantity Surveyor - Healthcare Construction Project
">This is a senior quantity surveyor position in the healthcare industry. The role involves managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

- Prepare measurements and tender documentation for construction projects">
- Analyse Building Information Modelling (BIM) models to validate cost plans and ensure accuracy">
- Edit contract bill and schedule of rates to reflect changes and updates">
- Draft preliminaries and trade preambles to establish project scope and terms">
- Review technical specifications prepared by consultants to ensure compliance with industry standards">
- Analyse measurements, admeasurements, and re-measurements to identify areas for cost savings">
- Drive cost planning and control processes to optimize project outcomes">
- Review cost analyses and provide recommendations for improvements">
- Interface with stakeholders to advise on alternative designs or methods of construction">
- Review periodic cost reports to track project progress">
- Define tender and procurement strategies to secure best value for the organization">
- Carr;y out pre-qualifications and implement procurement strategies">
- Manage post-contract administration and review documentation to invite tenders from contractors, specialists, or sub-contractors">
- Evaluate tender returns and make recommendations for award">
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in the main contractor industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
