Procurement Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement function, ensuring that all sourcing activities are conducted in a fair and transparent manner. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet business needs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to source and procure goods and services from third-party suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure that suppliers meet quality and performance standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure that all relevant data is reported to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, or supply chain management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement and/or vendor management, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to outsourcing and third-party risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization.
  • Integrity, strong leadership, and technical skills in procurement and vendor management.
